House of Hope

House of Hope Girl

Who They Are
House of Hope is a Christian therapeutic school, home, and counseling center for hurting and troubled girls, ages 12-17 and their families. When there is a hurting teenage girl in a family, the entire family is affected and the entire family needs help.

House of Hope uses the terms hurting and troubled because the girls at House of Hope may have been in trouble (with the law, their parents, or their peers) but their actions stem from a deeper hurt that has not healed.

Since 1998, they have served approximately 140 families (around 400 people including girls, parents, step-parents, grandparents, and siblings) within a 3-4 hour radius of Clayton. They currently have a full program with 8 families in the residential program, 3 families receiving outpatient services and a growing waiting list. Their goal is to help heal each family member and bring reconciliation to the family as a whole by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

Our Part In The Story
We occasionally have the opportunity to have the girls residing at House of Hope join us on a Sunday morning for our gathering, and we’re excited every time they are here with us. But we are even more excited that every 2nd Monday of the month we get to prepare, take, serve and eat a meal with the girls at the House in Clayton. We seriously look forward to these evenings getting to chat and eat (of course eat!) and build relationships. If you’d be interested in joining us, please let us know!
